Sustainability
We invest in sustainability by focusing on the well-being of our employees, supporting society, protecting the natural environment and ethical management. Our aim is to reduce environmental impacts through innovative and sustainable solutions, while creating a positive impact on society. Transparent and accountable management is a priority in our daily work to ensure sustainable development and credibility.

We care for the environment
Our employees across the Baltics use a variety of modes for commuting and moving between work sites daily.
We contniuously work on improving route plaaning to reduce our environmental impact and carbon footprint.

We reduce the use of cleaning products
The use of cleaning products is an important factor in the impact we have on the environment in our work. We therefore prefer to use clean water and microfibre cloths.
In 2023, we reduced our use of cleaning agents by 17% compared to the previous year.

We protect nature
We have introduced a new SOL cleaning concept based on the principle of using less cleaning agents, water and energy.

We reuse
We use Vileda’s professional mops, cloths and cleaning tools, which are partly made from recycled materials and reprocessed plastic.
We use professional Miele washing machines and dryers for cleaning textiles, which are 95% recycled at the end of their lifecycle.

We sort waste
We advise our customers on how to sort waste in a smarter and more environmentally friendly way. This includes recommending that you shift away from small bins in workplaces and establish sorting stations in your building.
This will help save cleaning time and costs. For example, in an office with 50 desks, it takes 25 minutes to empty the small bins, whereas only 30 seconds at the sorting station.

We continuously train our staff
Every year, we invest 2% of our turnover in the development of our staff.

We prioritize safe working practices
Our goal is to prevent workplace accidents through safety instructions and additional training. In 2023, there were 71% fewer workplace accidents compared to 2022.

We value our employees' health
In 2024, all top and middle managers across the Baltics completed Mental Health First Aider training.
In total, the company has nearly 100 employees trained in mental health support.

We contribute to society
Every year, we contribute to society through various charity projects. In 2023, we supported the 500Kleiti initiative, which raised money for the Estonian Cancer Society to buy a CT scanner.
SOL laundries opened their doors as collection points for dresses, and the dresses that required cleaning were washed in SOL’s laundromats before the auction.
