May 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 18\u201322 May 2026, SOL Baltics participated in an Erasmus+ job-shadowing study tour programme in Dijon, France. Our partner was Acad\u00e9mie de Dijon, the French public education authority operating under the Ministry of Education and coordinating educational activities in the Bourgogne region.&#13;\n&#13;\nThe aim of the study tour was to gain insight into the French vocational education system through job shadowing, develop professional knowledge and skills, and gain international experience.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sol.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/rrrrrrrr.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24004\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3908324474003015;width:353px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the job shadowing, we also visited the Lyc\u00e9e Professionnel Nelson Mandela vocational school in Audincourt, where we learned about the French vocational education system. The school offers education at various levels of vocational training and in various fields of study, including hygiene, cleaning and sterilization.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a three-year national vocational education program that prepares specialists for work in the cleaning, hygiene and healthcare fields. The study combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare students for real-world work situations.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"529\" height=\"434\" src=\"https:\/\/sol.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/rrrrr.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24006\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.218901890189019;width:324px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sol.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/rrrrr.jpg 529w, https:\/\/sol.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/rrrrr-300x246.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the job shadowing, we also visited the Sterilisation Centrale Dijonnaise sterilization center, which was jointly created by a public hospital and private clinics to ensure professional cleaning and sterilization of medical instruments in one center.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the visit, we got an overview of the entire sterilization process: from receiving, washing, and disinfecting instruments to checking, assembling, packaging, storing, and issuing.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"488\" height=\"562\" src=\"https:\/\/sol.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/rrrrrrr.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24005\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.8683237412072178;width:266px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sol.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/rrrrrrr.jpg 488w, https:\/\/sol.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/rrrrrrr-260x300.jpg 260w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The job shadowing at Sterilisation Centrale Dijonnaise provided a good overview of an invisible but extremely important area of \u200b\u200bhealthcare. As part of the Erasmus+ study tour, it was a valuable opportunity to learn about the best practices in European healthcare and compare them with Estonian experiences.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Erasmus+ study tour to the Acad\u00e9mie de Dijon region was a valuable experience both professionally and personally. Visits to vocational schools and healthcare institutions broadened the horizons and showed how vocational education and working life work in France.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The values \u200b\u200bof French schools are based on the principle of \u201cLibert\u00e9 \u2013 \u00c9galit\u00e9 \u2013 Fraternit\u00e9\u201d (\u201cLiberty \u2013 Equality \u2013 Brotherhood\u201d), which emphasizes the importance of freedom, equality, and solidarity.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 18\u201322 May 2026, SOL Baltics participated in an Erasmus+ job-shadowing study tour programme in Dijon, France.
