We would like to highlight our long-time colleague Jüri Fesjuk, whose journey at SOL began in the fall of 2007 quite directly and practically. While looking for work through CV Keskus, he received a call and found himself behind the wheel of a tractor on the site that very day. That’s how simple and concrete Jüri’s first day at work was.
Over the years, work and work equipment have changed significantly. While the tractor was smaller and simpler at the beginning, today it is larger, more modern and more comfortable. According to Jüri, modern technology is safer and even more luxurious, which makes everyday work smoother. He is currently using his fourth tractor, and each new machine has been a special and motivating moment.
Jüri’s workdays are never the same. Everything depends on the weather and the season. He likes that he can plan his own work section and be responsible for both quality and deadlines. An important part of the job is also communication with the contact persons on the site and specifying the work on site.
A good team is a great value for Jüri. An understanding, helpful team and a good sense of humor are a strong motivation to come to work every morning. Outside of work, his greatest joy is his family, especially his grandson, with whom he spends time giving him energy and balance.
To young people considering working at SOL, Jüri simply says, you need courage, come and try. There is always a choice.
