Valentina has been working at SOL for two years. Before that, she worked for another cleaning company, but she has been at the same site for 11 years already! She started as a cleaning service worker and has since been promoted to the position of team leader.

Valentina’s work is very dynamic – each day brings both pleasant and challenging situations that must be solved quickly. She is responsible for two large buildings, each with eight floors.
Her workday starts at 6 a.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. At the beginning of the day, she checks on the morning shift cleaners, and throughout the day she prepares work schedules and organizes the workflow.
Smiling, Valentina says: “As a team leader, my duties include training new and existing employees – teaching them how to use work tools and cleaning agents correctly. I also help to improve work organization, as most of our employees are over 60 years old. One major challenge is teaching them to work according to the new cleaning concept, but we don’t give up.”
“I really enjoy being helpful, and I like that there are many client employees working at our site who are friendly and always ready to assist. I also appreciate my colleagues – they are responsible, caring, and polite,” says Valentina.

As a child, Valentina dreamed of becoming a surgeon, as she was interested in medicine, but that dream did not come true.
When asked about her hobbies, she replies cheerfully: “Since I live in a private house, I have a garden where I plant flowers and various plants. To make my garden beautiful, I create decorations out of cement. Later, when I sit in the garden with a cup of coffee, it’s wonderful to see the results of my own handiwork.”
Funny things also happen at work. “Something amusing happens every day! Once, a new cleaner mixed up a dishwasher tablet with a urinal tablet – and the dishes were washed! When I opened the machine, I realized something was wrong – the dishes were clean, but the smell was strange,” Valentina recalls, laughing.
When asked whether she would recommend working at SOL, Valentina answers: “I definitely would! I like how the company treats its employees. Our site manager is always helpful and understanding, and I can rely on her – both morally and practically.”
“In previous companies, the management just pointed fingers and left the employee alone with the problem. At SOL, the Supervisor stays on-site, helps, teaches, shows something new, and listens to the employees to find better solutions together. That makes the work so much more pleasant,” Valentina says with a smile.
