The former Head of HR and Quality of SOL became the Head of Sustainability and Business Development in Baltics

SOL’s Head of HR and Quality in Baltics, Evely Gorobinski, took up a new position in the company and started as Head of Sustainability and Business development in Baltics at the beginning of October. Katre Schmidt, who until today was responsible for HR management in Estonia, took over the management of the Baltic HR unit.

Already in the fall of last year (2022), SOL focused on the implementation of sustainability principles in the development of company services as well as reducing SOL’s ecological footprint, and becoming an advocate of sustainability in the property maintenance sector.

Realizing these ambitions is a strategically important step that needs greater enforcement and a supporting structure. As a first step, the entire Baltic management of the company completed a micro-degree in the specialty of green-turn management at Tallinn University. From October 1, 2023, the company decided to create a new Baltic-wide sustainability and business development structural unit at the management level, From October 1, 2023, the company decided to create a new Baltic-wide sustainability and business development structural unit at the management level. This new unit will be leaded by Evely Gorobinski, who accepted new challenges within the company.

Katre Schmidt took over the management of the Baltic HR unit, whose team grew to 11 members. Katre will also be part of the Baltic management.
