SOL Baltics and Pesumaja PLUS announce a strategic transaction, through which Pesumaja PLUS acquires SOL’s three Tallinn laundries, located on Maakri Street, in Mustamäe Center and in Rocca al Mare Center. The transaction supports both companies’ strategic goals – SOL Baltics will focus on its core business in the B2B sector and Pesumaja PLUS expands its operations in the high-quality laundry services and dry cleaning market. The transaction was advised by Aureus Capital.

According to SOL Baltics Board Chairman Rinel Pius, selling the laundries is part of the company’s strategic decision to fully focus on its core business in the B2B sector. “The laundries have served our clients well and have also served our interests. It’s always nice to hear from clients that my grandmother went to Maakri, my mother went to Maakri, I go to Maakri, and my children also go there. We are truly proud of our laundries, but in recent years we have increasingly focused on serving B2B clients.
We spent a long time looking for a reliable partner who would take over our laundry business, and in Pesumaja PLUS we found a solid partner who shares our values. So laundry washing will continue at Maakri, Mustamäe, and Rocca al Mare centers. The laundry on Maakri Street has been operating since before 1910 and will continue to operate!” noted Pius.
Pesumaja PLUS will take over operations on Maakri Street starting from April 1st, and the laundries at Mustamäe Centre and Rocca al Mare from May 1st.
Before this transaction, SOL Baltics successfully operated three laundries in Tallinn, offering high-quality laundry services to both private and business customers. After the transaction, the company will focus entirely on its core business in the B2B sector, providing professional cleaning and property maintenance services to business clients. Pesumaja PLUS already acquired SOL Baltics’ Tartu Lõunakeskus laundry and Pärnu Port Artur 2 dry cleaning outlet last year. With this transaction, the company’s operations now expand significantly to the Tallinn market as well.
